May Tryouts

Tryout Dates, Registration Details and Program Costs will be posted in March

Plan on being at both tryout days (first 2 for Dev).

Open Training is an opportunity to have fun training with other players trying out for the team, and it's an excellent way to get to know your potential team mates.

All tryout players shall wear shin guards and plain white shirt. Bring a ball & water bottle.

For the Development aged players- think of it more as an 'evaluation'. The process is similar to a practice that they've already experienced: some drills, scrimmages etc. All communication regarding their status is conveyed to the parents.

SESC does not allow players to 'play up' from their birth year. The exception to this is in U8 Development - players who are a year younger but want to play in a year round program and are ready to compete with the older kids are welcome to try out.

2018-19 Age Brackets:

  • U8 born in 2011 & 2012
  • U9 born 2010
  • U10 born 2009
  • U11 born 2008
  • U12 born 2007
  • U13 born 2006
  • U14 born 2005

Age brackets for Competitive & Development are based on the calendar year of birth.
